Brief: Real Good Stuff Co. Closing Its Doors
Real Good Stuff Co. has officially announced that they are closing their doors. A statement was made on instagram by the company this afternoon, Wednesday, November 30th.
The quick, healthy and fresh food and juice bar, known for their bagel sandwiches and iconic signs is one that couldn’t be missed. The cafe has seven restaurants across Chicago, which are dearly loved by many people, including me.
The bright cartoonish artwork on the building, the decals in the window, the bright colors inside, all made it a place where it made you want to eat healthy. The quickness of it was unlike any healthy restaurant, yet it never failed to amaze me how good everything was. I am lucky enough to live just a block and a half away from one of its seven locations, and I can tell you, I would grab something to eat there at least once a week for a while. My all time favorite breakfast, the fruity pebbowl was sweet, fruity, and all in all, delicious. I’m not sure what I’m going to do now that the cafe down the street will be closed. Where will I get an afternoon snack on the weekend? What will be for lunch? Honestly, I can’t think of many foods besides sushi that I would miss as much as the fruity pebbowl.
Much of the post about the closing of Real Good Stuff Co. is the seven managers in need of jobs. This just shows the community Real Good has built over the past almost-decade, and I’m so glad I was able to be apart of it. All of the workers were always so friendly no matter the weather outside. I’m sad to see Real Good go, so here are some pictures I took of the food and the wonderful environment in and outside it brought.
